Freelander wines have been made in Napa Valley, CA since the founding. The fruit comes from select vineyards that produce elegant and impressive wines.
Freelander Pinot Noir from California is aged in French and American oak. It shows baked cherry and violet in the nose, crisp flavors of red currant, baking spice and vivid strawberries balance the mouthfeel. A touch of toasted oak completes the gentle finish.
"A fresh, vibrant, easy-drinking Pinot Noir, the vivacity of this wine truly comes alive on the palate with notes of red cherry, red plum, cranberry and tart strawberry with complementary tones of chocolate, black tea, tree bark and dried leaves. - Stacy BRISCOE"

"This is a well-made wine that's generous in aromas and flavors. It is a little taut and appetizing in texture and balanced by good acidity. Cinnamon and red-cherry aromas are followed by snappy cherry and raspberry flavors. The wine is medium bodied and lightly tannic.- Jim Gordon"
