"The 2018 Volnay Sous La Chapelle 1er Cru comes from 15-year-old vines. It has a fragrant, quite floral bouquet, pressed rose petal and incense infusing the raspberry and crushed strawberry aromas. The oak here is very well integrated. The medium-bodied palate offers ripe, fleshy tannins and a slight chewiness on the finish. Not bad. - Neal Martin"
