"The rich loess soils protected the vines in Eichelberg from severe frost damage in 2016, but they didn’t protect the yields. What was left produced a concentrated veltliner, round and deep in umami tones, with lime-leaf and parsley notes providing lift. It’s balanced and structured, built to age a few years or to pour with a creamy asparagus gratin."
