"Vibrant gold in color, this Chardy, from a small region in South Australia, has a flinty, salty edge, but it doesn't overwhelm the concentrated citrus and stone fruit. There's a whiff of oak-derived smoke, like the embers of a beachside campfire. The palate offers tingly freshness and medium weight. Oak is present but more in a supporting role. Think Mâconnais with Aussie sunshine. Drink now–2028. Christina PICKARD."
