1.5 hectare single vineyard with an eastern exposure, located between the villages of Pouilly and Davayé. Vines are 40+ years on average. The soil is mainly made of flint stones that give birth to a rich and powerful wine.
Pale yellow gold color. Smoky, mineral, slightly spicy notes; exotic fruit aromas. Fine minerality & white pepper flavors with a great length. Well balanced and powerful.
Pairs well with poultry with creamy sauce.
"Full of fruit and with ripe red-apple flavors, this wine is poised between richness and crisp minerality. Acidity provides essential contrast to the full fruitiness the. Drink from 2020. - ROGER VOSS"

"(from roughly 40-year-old vines on clay and chalk soil between Fuissé and Davayé; the estate did not make this wine in 2016 due to hail): Bright, light yellow. Deeply pitched aromas of yellow peach, mirabelle, spices and noble herbs. Generous, ripe, spicy and clean; the sweetest wine to this point in my tasting at this estate but nicely supported by fresh acidity. Concentrated, fine-grained wine with a hint of warmth (the alcohol here is 13.6%) but also noteworthy white-peppery lift to its appley finish.- Stephen Tanzer"
