Dan has extensive experience in all aspects of the wine business that includes virtually every job except producer (although he did make is own wine for a few years with friends, but that was strictly for “medicinal purposes.”) He has an intimate insider knowledge of the workings of retail, restaurant, distribution and importing making it “second nature” for him to sell to any or all those channels. Over the past three decades, Dan has met with hundreds of winemakers from nearly all the 15 countries KPF currently works in. Additionally, he is a certified sommelier as well as a certified sake professional.

When not wining, Dan enjoys time with his wife, Christine and their family, as well as cooking, hunting, and photography.
