Jim comes to us with a BA and MBA from Case Western Reserve University and over 35 years of business experience. He spent 16 years in the healthcare field (sales, marketing & general management), dealing in equipment, healthcare plans, insurance, and software support systems, before moving to the wine industry. In 1999, Jim started Euro Vin Importers, a wine import and distribution company serving Ohio markets. This was an ongoing venture until July of 2009, when he closed operations and was hired by Euro USA to manage and run their fledgling wine distribution company that same month. As Director of the Euro Fine Wine division of Euro USA, Euro Fine Wines grew over 900% over the 7 years he managed the business.

In March 2017, Jim accepted an opportunity to join Kysela Pere et Fils, LTD., whose products Jim has represented for nearly 18 years in the Ohio marketplace.

Jim has been avid wine collector for 32 years and has taught and conducted many wine classes and seminars over the last 17 years. He is also member (27 years) and Vinotecaire of the Cleveland Chapter of Commanderie de Bordeaux and Court of Master Sommeliers; Certified Sommelier for 11 years.
